The glasses we all know as bone glasses are actually glasses made of acetate material. The cellulose acetate we use in our glasses is a petroleum-free material produced from natural cotton and wood fibers. We prefer cellulose acetate, which is a renewable resource , in order to avoid the harm it causes to the environment due to the carbon emission caused by petroleum-based raw materials.
Cellulose acetate, which is hypoallergenic , has an absorbent character and does not contain any chemicals or toxic substances in its structure, and it also absorbs toxins that we expel through sweat. Acetate should be preferred in glasses with constant skin contact. Acetate, which is a natural material, has scratches on its surface due to its structure. In this way, you can understand that the glasses you bought are cellulose acetate and that the material has not come into contact with any chemical components.
As Invictus Glasses Industry, we polish the glasses we produce, after 18 hours of rough cabinetry, in order not to spoil the naturalness of the material and not to use chemical varnish, with a cabinetry process consisting of two stages and gradually thinning rosewood pieces for 12 hours each.
The lenses we use in our brand's sunglasses are CR 39 (organic glass) and have UV400 protection.

While CR39 organic lenses provide comfort to eyeglass wearers thanks to their lightness , they are the most preferred lens type for both adults and children, thanks to their resistance to impacts and heat. It is produced in accordance with CE and FDA test norms. It maintains its high quality optical quality even in long-term contact with chemicals, acids and bases.
Our eyes are naturally protected by a mechanism that works in the form of the dilation and contraction of our pupils. While our pupils shrink in bright environments, they enlarge in order to perceive the surroundings more easily in dark environments, and therefore we get more light into our eyes.
When we wear dark colored sunglasses without UV protection, our eyes mistakenly think we are in a dark environment and let more light in, so dark glasses damage our eyes. However, when we use light-colored (and UV-protected) lenses, our eyes use their own natural defense and thanks to the UV filter, our lenses provide a second layer of protection. In addition, black, dark blue, purple glasses make it difficult for our eyes to adapt to the environment and color perception. This situation tires our eyes and causes us to perceive some colors and objects incorrectly. For this reason, it will be safer for you to choose light-colored (orange/yellow, smoked or gray) glasses instead of dark-colored glasses in your glass color selections.
